My avatar in Entropia Universe, Maria mastermesh Mesh, has a blueprint consignment shop. You can read more about it at the main thread on Entropia Forum about it:
The Lost Library
The goal of the shop is to sell as many blueprints for as many avatars as I can. I don’t make much off of it since I’m charging 20% less than the in game auctioneer would cost the sellers at the same level of markup. However, since I’m charging such low prices, I can manage to get high turnover, which is needed to make a few peds here and there…. I’m thinking about expanding the shop in the future, but may not do that for a while since I just acquired it about a week or two ago. In the few days that I’ve owned the shop, I’ve seen quite a few sales already, so there is a big market potential here. A shop dedicated solely to blueprints is something only a few avatars on Planet Calypso have tried before, and most of those ended horribly. I hope I’m doing something right to keep myself from having that happen to Maria’s shop. There’s a lot of things that happened to get Maria to the place where she is in that game now. Hopefully she’ll continue to progress over time. There is a pretty good chunk of money invested in the shop, so hopefully it won’t go down in value over time… or if it does, hopefully there will be enough sales to make up for the difference. The one constant in Entropia Universe is change… That dynamic universe is always changing… as soon as you think you have things figured out they go and change them on you. I might outline some of the changes in a later post… there’s a ton… both before Maria arrived on Calypso and during her brief stay there so far…
