Explanation:
Tiger Woods, as you probably know, has gotten in deep trouble lately, but that hasn’t stopped the game from prospering! Tiger Woods Golf (TWG) is a golf simulator app for the iPhone. It uses the touchscreen for many simple tasks, such as swiping your finger to hit, or navigate the game. It doesn’t have much use for the iPhone’s motion sensor, but it still works well. The game is all about climbing the ladder to stardom. You start as a unsponsored rookie, but if you get good enough, you will turn into a pro. Pro’s get more money, so you can actually get paid to buy clothing (which is a cool feature). WiFi connectivity between players also works quite well.
Review:
8/10
TWG received this rating because it has lots of vital details. The club accuracy, when compared to the movement of your finger, is very realistic, except for putting (-1). Also, the game has great gameplay, encouraging you to continuously play without getting bored. Some things I don’t like about TWG is the storyline (there is none), realism (it seems too easy to ‘climb the ladder’), and glitches (they don’t happen often, but they can be annoying). I like how easy it was to play with other people (in your room), although you will probably end up putting it on your ‘not played often’ list, finally resulting in 8 stars.
